Recently we have become aware of fraudulent retailers badging inferior products with the XTRONS name, selling these often defective, dangerous and sub-standard products to their customers as if they were the genuine article. While we’d like to reassure our customers that these products have nothing to do with us, we’d like to tell you what the XTRONS difference is.
XTRONS uses industrial-grade, brand name components throughout, with every product covered by our 30-day returns period. Beyond this 30 day period, you are covered under our 2 year manufacturer’s warranty on all main items, and 90 days on all accessories. This covers both repairs and like-or-newer replacements.
All of our units are stress-tested far beyond normal use, meaning that they work perfectly under normal operating conditions. Technical data is listed in detail on the website and in the manuals, so it’s easy to see if a part has been switched for something inferior.
The XTRONS logo should be present using the colours teal, orange, black, grey and white, in the correct typeface, as should our business address. Any item should be shipped with the included accessories. For reference, this is our real logo -
Official Resellers and Installers
We also have a network of licensed resellers and installers, with products available through selected online retailers - all of them have a badge to prove that they’re official. When purchasing from an online retailer, we recommend you use a trusted portal. When buying from a reseller, we recommend you find the product on our own website and compare specs - if the specs are incorrect, or you can’t find it on the site, then it isn’t genuine.
Installing and using a fake stereo can be dangerous, with the possibility of shorting electronics, damaging in-car computers, or even causing fire. Stay safe by using a real, authenticated product.
